Heys. Im finally back from Malacca. Ive been recording down my so called 'adventures' and okay im gonna blog. Hmm ok here goes..
Left school at 730 am on Saturday... Then took a fairly long ride to the customs place near the border. So um that was done quite quickly. Then back on another long bus ride where we aere eating alot. like some party. Many who were sleeping ended up in people's cameras. haha. im guilty of helping to take some. e.g. chien tat. which is a very valuable pic now. gee. Most were either playing games on handphone, or chatting, or sleeping or listening to MP3.We stopped by 2 places, one of which had a VCD/DVD shop. Movies like Eragon were already there and some which have not even started showing in Singapore. As expected, toilet standards are fairly low.. sigh. But the good food makes up for it. Im keeping the money for my group used for the charity bazaar which is on Saturday. We spent about 27RM buying food and the others will be used later. Stuff here is cheaper than Singapore (duh) but then dont want to be lugging the whole supermarket home. We then went to D'Paradise which was a fruit and plant plantation which doubled up as a aboriginal village. The roads in Malaysia are very bumpy, and we all agree that this is the cause of night accidents. Lol i mean seriously the bus driver couldnt brake if he wanted to. There, they let us sample Jackfruit, papaya, Rambutan, passionfruit and Starfruit. There were lots of flies in the toilet and mosquitoes too. They were all fat and slow. Chien Tat took the liberty of killing flies on sight, which are so dumb you can even step on them. unlike their Singaporean counterparts which are fast and alert. We walked through many plants of many varieties. We also saw the cactus farm, with cactuses ranging from round to the typical in the desert, and those that didnt look like cactuses at all. We also got up close and personal with the ostriches, the deers, and the cute rabbits. There was no barrier between us, so you could actually touch them. Nick Siah spit chewing gum in the enclosure, and the ostrich swallowed it. so we were joking that if the ostrich died, we knew who to go after. LOL. and chien tat was feeding it leaves plucked from the tree. haha. i was helping samuel ong take a picture of a deer when one actually came to me and almost licked my shirt. haha it was so cuteeeeeeeeeee. There was also a vineyard, though there were only small little grapes there. At the arena, there was a performance by the tribe, showcasing their dances and customs. But then something really freaked me out. a butterfly flew onto te fan and got chopped up. So gross. and scary. the wing shards are freakily all over the place. After a further tour, we were taking a buggy ride back after previous rides. Beng Teong happened to be in my buggy. and the joke was we could not go uphill. Lol so later after finding a way out, the downhill went very smoothly and fast, probably due to the GPE.Back at the hotel I saw my room la. sharing with Shawn. but its on a double bed. but its okay la. Its quite a nice and cosy place minus the bad concierge service who cant really understand English. Nvm. I can hear Chien Tat from my room. hes with Matthew Wang. Happy new year to CT la. Matt Wang is a bit weird, with is catch phrase that we love to repeat 'Do you like Chien Tat....?" LMAO. Jianhui and christer are one of the few who got single beds, but then their air-con is spoilt, fridge is spoilt, tv is spoilt, some lights are spoilt. Lol so i rather have my room. People kept making prank calls. Bob was jumping on Siah's bed.. but I got tired of their company, which I dont really enjoy. In re end I went over to Colin's room to watch soccer because only rooms on the third flow have cable TV. so unfair.. Liverpool owned Watford. Wei En was messing up Colins room as he does with anyone's. his sugar and creamer was everywhere. Sigh sometimes hes just an idiot. Then saw Chien tat being scolded for breaking a phone. what a loser.. --- END OF DAY 1 ---
